The restoration of the former St. Vincents Rock Hotel to provide twelve Apartments and two houses.

DJP have provided full Structural and Civil Engineering design services for the restoration of this listed building in its commanding position with panoramic views over the Avon Gorge and Clifton Suspension Bridge.

A sixth floor was added within the existing roof space of this existing city centre office block. There was also extensive refurbishment of the fifth floor together with the extension of the access stairs and escape stair shafts which resulted in significant plant room alterations and additional mezzanine plant platforms.

DJP provided full Structural Engineering design services which included a design check of the existing structure to prove its adequacy to sustain the additional loads from the 6th floor.
