Comment: Refurbishment of existing Offices into modern office complex.  The original buildings had been constructed in 1928 as a newspaper publishing complex. Careful design on redistribution of existing loadings ensured that a new modern lift shaft could be constructed without the installation of new piled foundations.

A 64 acre business park providing 700,000sq ft. of mixed use commercial accommodation.
DJP have provided full Structural and Civil Engineering design services for 6 individual plots to date on this ongoing development.

Close liaison with the Client, design team and Contractor has resulted in some extremely fast build times and high quality units.  The enterprise zone units have been nominated by ‘Mendip Built in quality awards 2008’ in the category of Best Commercial New Build.
